We haven't planned to do anything special to mark the occasion. Should we just have a normal day and maybe a celebration later on in the year? We had been planning a party but owing to unforseen circumstances we put those plans on the back boiler. Not sure whether or not to revive them and party later on or just forget all about it and do something just for the two of us at a later date. Any thoughts?

Daughter cooked and cleared up! Have saved pudding for later - plenty bubbly left for later. Definitely yes to a gathering on the clan and friends around time of daughter's birthday in July.
Again many thanks for all of your ideas and good wishes, here's to the next 25 (plus I hope!)
Spend ALL the party budget on a night at a totally fab hotel.

Spoil yourselves.
