removing ironed on letters from a football shirt
10 Answers
My grandson supports the team whose player has been sent to jail. His shirt has this guy's name and number on the back and clearly he cannot be allowed to wear it now given the circumstances. This is a new shirt and he had the letters and number added at the shop after it was bought. Does anyone know if there is any way of removing these letters so that he can either wear the shirt with nothing on the back, or have some other player's details added. This kit is too expensive to just throw away but at present it's just useless to him.

Personally under the circumstances I think that the club should either replace, or give something against another shirt. I realise the club didn't cause the jailing of one of its players, but this is a child who has already discovered his hero has feet of clay. I am led to believe though that once letters have been put onto the shirt, no refunds can be given. In a normal situation I can see why but these are unusual circumstances.
