spider in the bath

Just went to run a bath and there he sat BIG and HAIRY ,had to flush him down the plughole but he clung on to the nonslip mat like a scotsman to a five pound note. OH is total rubbish at getting rid of the pest so no I will sit in the bath waiting for his head to pop up the overflow (Spider not OH)

But, they can, as part of "treatment" make you hold a spider and the thought of that alone makes me avoid any treatment!!!

But that's such a defeatist attitude tinker, you've lost before you've started. By the time you are asked to hold a spider your therapist will make sure you are comfortable with that and that you are ready to do so. If I had such a phobia I would want to get rid of it as soon as possible, especially if it was spiders, because it's so hard to avoid them. And killing something that is harmless and one of the good guys is a big No No in my book.

It's just downright cruel, especially when they are getting rid of the the nasties in our home which do cause diseases like flies

oh tosh the little varmints shouldnt come in my house if they dont want to be flushed away. I didnt pull its legs off one by one or stick pins in it get real!

I'm with you 100% on this nannybooby, I cannot even get near enough to one to pop a glass over it , and anyway they scuttle in various directions.

boxtops I didnt necessarly drown it it might just have had a small vacation down the plughole and pipes into the sewer and be planning revenge as we type.
