Gonna show my age now but my very first record was Wild Cat by Gene Vincent - loved him then and love him now, his rendition of 'Over the Rainbow' is just the best.
My brother bough me the Bay City Rollers Album, round about 1978, still remember all the words to all the songs lol. The first one I bougtht was Toni Basil- Hey Micky, must have been 1980 or 1981.
I can't remember the first single I bought but the first album was News of the World by Queen
can't rembember, but either John lennon or Elvis's way down, as said above. the first one I had given me i remember though.. 'I'd like to teach the world to sing' which became coca cola song, so never forgotton it
