hi, i went to jersey in august
weather was lovely, but then weather in Britain was lovely at the time too, jersey was about 3 degrees higher.
we stayed at the royal yacht hotel in st hellier and i can highly recommend it. however, we were a couple rather than a family
Went to Jersey in August years ago. The weather was fine then but who knows nowadays. Went at the time of The Battle of the Flowers. Really enjoyed the week.

If I were you, I'd go somewhere else. There's not a lot to do, and they are exorbitantly expensive. Try Morocco instead. Cheaper, more fun, and not a very great deal further away.
My parents went to Jersey every summer for years until my dad died, and always last week of July and first week of August. They always came back tanned - the weather was always great. I went with my mum in late(ish) September the year after my dad died and the weather was fabulous and it was a really great place to visit - I keep trying to get best beloved to take a trip there with me. One of these days I'll get him there
my family live in guernsey [st sampson] and i travel there quite a lot to visit them, the weather in august can be quite mixed but warmer than cornwall as dt rightly says...you will not regret a vistit to the baliwick smow...take in herm and sark too...lovely and tranquil...
hi guys , destination is nothing to do with budget or preference. Husbands ex is playing silly sausages re his childs passport yet again - we battle for months to try and get it to go away - too stressful, and apparently you dont need a passport for Jersey or Guernsey ?
