Open waisted boxer shorts

Mu uncle - who is in his eighties is trying to locate some plain cotton boxer short which open at the waist with a button, and are not just elasticated all the way round. He requires a 42" waist size. Does anyone know who stocks any of this style of underpants. All the boxer shorts I have located are button fly but have a closed elasticated waist which are not suitable for a less abled gentleman.

I had an elderly male relative who had the same problem a few years ago. I trawled around the shops and eventually found some in an old fashioned gents outfitters. I'm sure every town has one tucked away somewhere. Another option would be to use an existing pair of underpants as a pattern and run some up on a sewing machine. Good luck with your search.
