I'm going to have a moan...'
My sciatica is back, this is its 3rd visit, about this time last year I had it & its such a painful complaint. My doc gives me painkillers & they're good but they make me feel like a zombie, Paracetamol don't touch it. Last time it was a couple of months then one morning I woke up & it was gone, oh! how I'm waiting for that day....
In the meantime any good remedies from my good ABer pals?

I gave it a try and to my surprise it actually worked! I had a year of no pain at all, so I went back and had another go and it shifted it never had a twinge since (touch wood). If you fancy trying an alternative treatment give it a go.

Jemisa, Its just a thought as my uncle was treat for this by his G.p for over a year, nothing helped, so uncle went to a chiropractor who straight away told him he need a new hip and that nothing was wrong with his back. Uncle told G.p he wanted a hip x ray and he did need a new hip.
Are you sure it sciatica?

Jem, a long time ago, mine was so bad the sciatica reached my feet and i was hospitalised. This was suggested to me by the physio crew. It was worth the £35 i paid then. At £15 now, i thouroughly recommend it. its called the 'Mckenzie night roll'

Thankyou folks for your concern and recomendations. I've got an app't with my GP tomorrow, but for now I'm on Co-Codimol and the Tiger-Balm its a bit easier but I feel zonked out most of the time. Last year I had an MRI scan & it showed a disc pressing on the sciatic nerve. The symptoms are the same now.
I think its a matter of time hoping the disc shifts in its own time SOON.
