The Left will go to any lengths to try and get their way, they will even go as far as using the word 'Racist' to try and frighten the people of Nottingham into not voting for an Elected Mayor.

I have never belonged to any political party or even joined a club (I used to play snooker in the Con Club but never joined).
No one party suits me. There are bits I can support in all three of the main parties. I was probably more anti Blair than you were, but you didn't seem to notice. I am anti Miliband. Cameron has been better than I thought he would be, but Osborne has been a disaster.
I find your notions of what is left and what is right highly amusing and wide of the mark. I do not know if you deliberately ignore facts or whether you are genuinely ignorant of them. Take this question for instance. You imply that the left (you mean Labour, are against elected mayors.
// The Left will go to any lengths to try and get their way... try and frighten the people of Nottingham into not voting for an Elected Mayor //
When the truth is Labour introduced elected Mayors, They won the London Mayoral contest twice and have elected Mayors in Hackney, Leicester, Lewisham and Newham.

Be fair about 'left' and 'right'. It's confusing. A friend who is an 'A List' Conservative party candidate, once told a selection committee, who had asked her to reveal any embarrassing fact in her life ,that her only embarrassment was her then finding herself to the left of Tony Blair, the PM! They selected her as their candidate, too.
That's centrist politics for you.

It seems that you are ignorant of the question, I did not say that the Left/Labour pe-se are against elected Mayors, notice what I did say.
"The Left will go to any lengths to try and get their way, they will even go as far as using the word 'Racist' to try and frighten the people of Nottingham into not voting for an Elected Mayor"
Summary, The Left/Labour are against an elected Mayor in Nottingham, and have used dodgy tactics to persuade the people of that city not to vote for one.
That is fact.
We are not talking of the fact that they introduced elected Mayors, or that they elected them in Hackney, Leicester, Lewisham and Newham.

One does not have to 'join' a particular party to constantly fight their corner.
You are always criticising me for being right-wing, so I ask you again, not what p[arty you show elegance to, but what side of the political spectrum do you bat for?
I can forecast your answer 'The Left', which I presumed in the first place, but we still don't know how far left.
