My edition of Chambers (the one before the 2012 edition), does not give either of these words as a type of cat. I usually find Doc's puzzles are much more straightforward than those of, say, Mr Magoo or Lavatch, but I think it is a tad unfair if one has to refer to a copy of Bradford's to verify the solution.
