cannot open documents on my l.t

when i tr to open any documents i cant,,its saying cannot open ,,do you want to locate a programme to open this document ...dont understand it,,i used o be able to open documents without a problem,,is there a programme i can download to open documents?

What documents?

If they are word documents then you need word installed (part of microsoft office) if you've not got that then openoffice will open word documents.

To open any document you need to have a program on your system that recognises that file type.
