Black mark
I have a black mark, blob on the back of the screen. It is up the top so doesn't so much interfere with what i can view, however it's very noticeable,
In case you don't understand, it's not on the screen itself, so could wipe off with screen cleaner, but inside. Any ideas how it got there, or what i could do to get rid of it. Hope that makes some sense.

It's fairly easy on most laptops, just split the screen bezel apart, normally remove the cover from along the top of the base of the laptop undo the handful of screws holding the screen in and unplug it.
It's about a 10-15min job on most laptops (I say most because there are some where it can be a real pain)

no it's not a fly, sorry to not get back before. It looks like an black ink mark, not really sure i would be up to opening out the casing to sort it out.
I do pay a monthly fee for so called expert technical help, however i have been reluctant to call them, as the last time i did this, i ended up with no computer for a year. Long story. Plus i have heard some horror stories of computers being lost, or wiped clean..
Would it be advisable to at least call them, and ask what can be done..

It might also be a dead pixel then, again not a lot that can be done about it if that's the case (other than change the whole screen)
Why on earth do you pay a monthly fee for tech support from a company that kept your computer for a year and you're scared to use because of horror stories you've heard about them.
