Not only pay someone to change my duvet, I would pay someone to fill my van up with diesel and hang out my washing - my three pet hates! But I'd also have a spare vehicle available at all times for when mine breaks down!

Linen sheets? They're colder than a marble slab, they're hard, they last forever, thereby giving lasting discomfort, and they now cost a fortune new, which is why people think they must be special, I suspect ! They are also a pain for your staff to launder.You can still buy them cheaply at auction; old ones that have never worn out, put in for sale by the children of the deceased parents who bought them, the vendors still remembering how uncomfortable the sheets were.

Top grade cotton ones are preferable.

Agree about the socks. Full length, cotton lisle for me.
