Yay to the little racoon, and rah team, rah !!
Maybe you should ask her sports teachers to take them to see one of the SuperLeague games. It's getting late in the SuperLeague season, but there are still some games left. I'll post a link in the next window to the SuperLeague site, and you can find your nearest team. Or give me a rough idea of which part of the country you live in, and I'll tell you your nearest SuperLeague team.
The Netball is mostly shown on SkySports 4 on a Thursday evening. The times vary a bit, cos there are sometimes other things that clash, like cricket (yaawn!). Next week, (Thursday 10th?) I think it's on at 7.30pm. They're covering a match between Celtic Dragons and Loughborough Lightning. I may do another Netball post between now and then, so watch this space, and try to get Little Racoon and her pals on a trip to see some live SuperLeague.
Netball is like many other sports. You know that the top players are going to be good, but you don't realise how good they are unti you see them live, and see how fast they pass the ball around the court, and how accurate their shooting is. School and club games have scores like 10-8, sort of thing. SuperLeague games have scores like 68-54.
