Hi there I have to go on tuesday for an assessment called ankle brachial index test I am type 2 diabetic and high cholestrol been getting a lot of pain in my legs and feet one is a lot worse than other. Test 16 months ago should 0.92 in the left leg now I am worried because pain a lot worse than it was then. I am only 40 can PAD be reversed?

0.92 shows a marked degree of claudication(narrowing) and the management will involve:
1) Control of your diabetes.
2)Control of your weight.
3 ) Control of your cholesterol (statins)
4) ACE inhibitors......Google them.
5) Stopping smoking.
Surgery to unblock the arteries MAY be indicated but the long time results are questionable.
