Thanks as usual Mintyman.
Thanks from me, too.
Thanks as always mm.
A bit late this morning as I went to do my civic duty.

An enjoyable puzzle in which I got the titles first and worked back to the omitted letters.

Thanks as always MM for the link.
many thanks for link
Thanks as always MM. Quite a "different" puzzle today.
I got the "person" first and worked back from there to check the rest.
Many thanks for the link as always.
Like others I have worked backwards but still cannot get to grips with 11 across despite having the three checked letters. A hint ( not the answer ) would be welcome.
One of the winners from three weeks ago was one of my guests over the last weekend. ( Hence not even looked at EV from Sunday. ) She is very pleased because it is the first time she has ever won a crossword prize.
Hi novalis

A screen, less two letters meaning very big, plus article.
Many thanks for that Kayakamina.

My friend has just phoned to say that her dictionary prize from 2059 has already arrived.
Good for her!
Thanks from me again, too, MM!
I need a hint for 9d - ?U?U?O.
UC (Upper Case) = capital.

Usual abbreviation for hesitation.
Many thanks Kayakamina. I have it now.
11 across is bugging me. What are the two letters for very big which are to be replaced by article. Thanks in advance
Remove OS (outsize/big) and add A (article)
Thanks Kayakamina, but I still cant confirm what I think the answer is because with the OS instead of A i can't find the word for screen. Please help, feeling dull today although I have completed the rest of the puzzle
Reredos - screen behind the altar

Remove OS, add A = REARED - Bred ( Red + extra theme letter)
