Google earth or google maps drap and drop question
Hello, I've recently discovered google earth and google maps drag and drop where you can drag the little man into a location and then you can amazingly walk around the streets as if though you were there which is nothing short of amazing but I'd like to see how some of the streets and buildings were in the 60's 70's and 80's and at the beginning of the 1900's if possible but cannot find a way to do this.
Is there a tab which I can use to change the dates to whatever time I would like to explore as I can't seem to find one in the settings?

Google took the pictures for its Street View feature in the recent past, so I think that you are unlikely to find the 'little man' on photographs of the 60s, 70s, and earlier. Certainly, at the beginning of the 1900s that technology did not exist.
Google Street View only exists because one of these has driven down every street in the country, recording what it sees:

Prior to that happening, nobody ever photographed every street in the UK, so there's no equivalent imaging available for the periods you refer to. However many amateur photographers (plus postcard publishers, estate agents, local councils, etc) have been photographing our streets ever since the birth of photography. You might be surprised at what you can find in your local county record office. (if visiting for the first time, take your passport and a least one other form of ID, as you'll need to apply for a reader's card. Also take a pencil, as pens are usually banned).

As there is no possible way to do that you might find this site interesting.

Not the same, but you can see old photos juxtaposed on current locations.
