Whay could cause the delays?
6 Answers
Every morning I open my email Yahoo, my fabebook and another website that I like. It can take 5 or more minues to get them up and running. I never switch them off and come and go all day. If I have been away for a few hours, I can usually read whatever window is open but when I try to move between the others, the sandtimer appears and nothing moves. Even Control Alt Delete sometimes refuses to work so I have to pull out a big plug and put the thing off. PC is 5 years old but I am reluctant to replace it as it could be a slow Broadband. I have BT Total. Any advice please?

In the mean time when its playing up open task manager(which may take a while ,just be patient) go to processes and see whats using the CPU, the chances are theres something in there running at 100% ,could be an anti malware/virus programme even(happened to me), it may be possible to disable it...
By the way im with Orange my broadband at the moment is 1.5mbs and that doesnt give me any problems on day to day surfing the net.
