haemochromatosis-carrier
6 Answers
My dad has been diagnosed with the above. I have also been tested and my results show that I am heterozygous (unaffected carrier) for the 845A mutation and homozygous for the 187C form of the gene (??)
So can I pass this on to my children or not?

Had a look on a couple of sites It looks like you can pass on the carrier part but you could only have children with it if your partner was a carrier too. Agree this is one for the real experts to explain in detail but you could contact the society for more info.
