There is a small selection of Chinese symbols there "Commonly found within Chinese paintings and Calligraphy." The closest I can find to soul mate are "Destiny", "Love" and "Kindness", but I'll keep looking for better matches.

OK, I tried a few translation sites, and this is what I got:
' "soul mate" = 灵魂伙伴
' "friend" = 朋友
' "companion" = 伴侶
' "lover" = 伴侶 (depends what kind of friend)
' 'sweetheart' =甜心
I'm not sure how accurate these translations are to the actual English meanings, but if it's just the shape that matters then it shouldn't be too important. Sorry if the symbols haven't come out. You might need to download Chinese language support, or something, if you can't see them.
