I'm a mature full time student nurse (single mum) studying a diploma (so i'm not eligible for a student loan as i have a bursary) I'm really struggling financially , trying to pay my bills, money for my daughter, petrol etc and i'm wondering if i can get a normal low interest loan even if i am a student? (i have quite a good credit rating..i think!) and if i can get a loan does anyone know the best one available?i'm really worrried. thanks

not many "low interest" loans at the moment. If you can't afford to even pay the bills, how will you afford to pay back the LOAN and pay the bills?
The only way to find out if you can get a loan is to apply. Go onto moneysupermarket.com to look for the best one
I think there is a Student Hardship Fund that you can apply for. Ask your tutor.
Go to Student Support at your Uni, they'll advise you as to the best options available to you.
Great minds.......Nibble.
