Moaning DT x

I'd forgotten it started in Land's End. Avoids us completely tho. Wonder if it goes anywhere near Lady-J's ?

Time I was on the move! Have a happy day everyone.
Take care Boaty, have a good 'un xxxx
The torch will be coming right through our seaside tow, practically past the end of our street. The town by then will be full of holidaymakers so Im sure there will be a crown lining the streets. I think its great and a once in a lifetime chance to see it, so I will be there too. Not so much for the torch but to support Gt Britain team. And being June, its bound to be raining.
At least the rain will be warm :-)

I'd like to go, just for the experience. Something to tell any potential grandchildren.
about 12 miles from her - Lands End, Mousehole, Penzance, Marazion, Helston (for Lady J to bless it), Falmouth, Truro, (near here) and Newquay and then up the county...Newquay about 1.15pm - overnight in Plymouth.
Thanks DT.

I love Mousehole, (the way it's pronounced that is) When the Beeb get Greenock wrong I tend to shout at the TV and Mousehole is my first line of defence :-)
Mouzzel.....
I know, it just drips from the lips. Lovely sound. :-D
Really good fish restaurant/bistro there.... http://www.2forestreet.co.uk/

also just around the corner on the bridge in Newlyn, the best ice cream in Cornwall, old fashioned taste and not quite as sweet - if you do like the sweet stuff, it holds/works well with a dod of the clotted cream! The place is called Jelberts.
Well, thats the hounds walked and Carakeel has had her wake up cup of tea, I just need to finish my breakfast and then up the garden to work on the chicken coop.
Ello again Ratter xx

Another reason for winning the Euos tonight is a visit to Cornwall.
Alba, Pop into Devon and see us on route.
Thank you Ratter, I'd love that. I'm staying out of the discussion (or battle) about Cream Teas :-D
Good morning all
there's no battle - ratter and I just agree that each other is wrong when it comes to cream teas and cream under or over.......
Hi WB...bit gloomy here in Barnsley and rain not far away....ne'er mind it's drinking time again...only drink weekends...got some nice South African 14% red (Cambalala) at £3.99 and a 13% Merlot varietal on offer at £2.99....both at Aldi Barnsley......three of each should see me and OH over the weekend....

Prost! ....everybody....Cheers!
DTcrosswordfan: and the best Cornish Pasties are made in Devon :0)
...the best ones I ever had were made in Essex.... admittedly by a woman who was born and raised in Cornwall
hi there. hope you all have a good day. i know most of you (if not all) will have gone about your duties and pleasures already but just in case there is anyone out there.
the torch is coming to helston (12 miles away) but as OH still has manflu, and he has kindly passed it on to me (so now i'm feeling a bit grotty) don't suppose we will go to see it. would have like to have done so. only chance we would ever get.
take care all of you.
