Why do I volunteer for these things.

I was out with our walking group this morning and we were asked if any of us could help with a sponsored walk this afternoon ,two of us volunteered. It was for the local Primary School and was to take 1hr 10mins. Off we set,120 children ages from 5 to 11 and various teachers,parents and volunteers,about 150 people altogether. There were 4 stiles to climb.The 1hr 10 mins went on and on and on.No one had timed how long it would take that many people to climb a stile. Just glad I was'nt the organiser.
