All the negativity isn't going to stop this event happening, whatever one's thoughts about costs etc. Isn't it time to get behind it and enjoy it? I can understand anyone who isn't sports minded being disinterested but why in this country do we crave failure for the country's endeavours? I watched the landing at Culdrose, in fact I watched the plane circling for 20 minutes on Plane finder, and am looking forward to a brilliant few months. I even discovered today that there was a football contest on too, honestly didn't know!

much as i admire people who train and train now i have done my bit by seeing this can i go and hide from the rest of the olympics?
