Listener 4189: I have read all the interesting comments, but I still don't know what to do next. It's the "extended sequence" that's bugging me; I have scanned and re-scanned but am so frustrated! The rest of my grid is looking very pretty. Any hints much appreciated: [email protected]

Starting top left try the sequence you have discovered in boustrophedon fashion - the first cell counts as 1, the second as 1, the fourth as 2 ........ you will need to move through the grid a few times to get all twelve letters.
