i'd say go to the hairdresers to have it done, u got less chance of getting it wrong then lol
i recently had some highlights and didnt like them as they came up to light..so i have covered mine up yesterday with clairol hydrience..i left it for 45 minutes instead of 30 and its okay...it says on the packet not to use it on bleach but i did as i have done it before...once when i had a lot of highlights and they were getting on my nerves i had it redone at the hairdressers they put red on first to replace the pigment then a golden blonde on after..and i came out reddish blonde..which is about right for me..if you are not confident of doing it then go to the hairdressers..
I use these temporary dyes which last 24 washes. I have brown hair and I have white hairs growing now so I have to cover them up. I don't want to use a permanent dye because I am scared about root growth, I only have a few white hairs so I don't think I need a permanent dye. This works quite well. Try it. Look in the shops for a temporary dye Clairol or Country Colours. Temporary dyes are not as powerful as permanenet colour so might be safer to use over highlighted hair. After all it does wash out without any permanent damage.
