Valuation of a whiskey bottle??
6 Answers
I'm not sure if you would have heard of a whiskey called Penderyn as it's a Welsh whiskey and I don't know how widely sold it is. But my dad has a bottle from its launch in 2004, which was launched by HRH Prince Charles.
The bottle is from barrel number 5 (1-4 were for dignitaries including Prince Charles).
It is unopened, never been out of the box and has a print of the exact barrel it is from. The barrels were destroyed after the launch as the whiskey was to remain unique from the whiskey sold in shops.
All the other bottles don’t have these barrel markings, only bottling date.
The last Penderyn bottle that was limited edition from 2008 was sold for £600 at auction.
How do I get this valued as my dad would love to know if what he has is worth anything? He doesn't want to sell it at all and will never open it, but it's more of a talking point for him really.
Thanks
