LOL!
Can't find it.
Top of the law section NoM
The creepy delivery guy/dog bite thread from another new traci
No offence like, but it doesn't get pretty boring seeing that word pop up several times with every new user whether they are one or not.
Agree Evian....
Pardon my ignorance but what is an owl? (Apart from being a bird, that is).
Nice word for a troll park. Sometimes to be had fun with.
Troll I think, although I can't think what connection there is. Tr - oll? Same old thing though isn't it. I found the pizza more interesting than the question.
It dates back a few months to a thread where the OP claimed an owl(s) was slamming itself against an upstairs window...or something to that effect.

Weird owls...:-0
There were a raft of owl-related posts from trolls here for a while ( I have fierce owls attacking our windows, kind of thing) and folk just bundled back in with a load of daftness. Vulcan42, for example opened a sancuary and changed avatar.

So it's just code/injoke for troll.
Thanks you lot. Makes sense now. (I think).
A pigeon slammed itself against my kitchen window today (honestly). Frightened me out of my wits, I wondered what the devil it was. I had a good look outside but all I could see were some crows - and the pigeon flying hot speed away. Would the crows be enough to frighten it into flying without due care and attention. I know they are carrion eaters but I don't know if they would be likely to kill in order to eat. Sorry - I am digressing but I would like to know.
O 'eck, star - do you realise what you might have started here??! :D

I'd go flying without due care myself.
Now look here humber - that was a serious question, so stop making fun and go and look it up for me. Don't ask me where, I would have looked it up myself if I had known.
If the pigeon was sitting on eggs or had chicks it may have been mobbed by the crows and chased away so they could feed on the nest contents.
star, I really wasn't making fun, your first line was just so like the owl posts and I (poorly) playfully meant you might set it all off again. That's me telled.

If you've got big windows, any bird can be carp at flying and head into them anyway. If there's a nest/chicks punch up going on away from human habitation, ditto.
