I have just been for my tea break, and the 'Lionel Blair' thread on Celebrity Gossip has been taken down - can anyone advise what happened?

I can understand the troll being removed for the unsubtle useername, but why did the thread go? Was it because it went off track, or was the original poster found to be a troll as wel?

I presume it was a troll. As soon as they were banned another 'new' user popped up with another weird statement/question.

It did seem odd how an apparently new poster could start with a Question and then get into a right state about a few people daring to disagree with him.

I never ever see trolls, I just assume everyone is on the level!

Absolutely, Sipowicz and often difficult to read; look at the folk who thought Maaria was a troll as couple of nights ago and how that divided the community. Sometimes, one reads he newbie correctly as a genuine or a troll, other times, we are off the mark........and, guess what, this will continue to happen.
