Ladies, would you take this as a compliment or an insult?

I am wearing a new dress today. It is a 60's style shift dress, above the knee and I'm wearing it with opaque tights. Just before she went out I asked my daughter if she thought my dress was too short for me. She looked me up and down and then said "You have the legs of a 12 year old girl." I can't work out if this is a compliment or an insult, as she is a typically scathing teenager.

I was staying with Big Sis last week and she suddenly said that I looked 'rough' (health-wise, before you say owt).

She got the special ttfn look.

Undaunted she continued with 'Well, you did ask and I told you the truth'.

Sorry girls, since I had probs with the leggies in 2009 & was advised to use E45 Moisturising Lotion on 'em every morning after the daily shower I am happy to say that I have better pins than any of you, so there.

When I was a young man one of the most interesting sights to see was the flash of flesh at the top of a pair of silk stockings & the accompanying suspenders. It was a real thrill for a growing youth. All that disappeared when tights came into fashion, disgusting things.
