or did anyone else as a child used to get totally freaked out by the theme music and woman dancing in the fire on "Tales of the unexpected"? AAARRRGGH i can hear the music in my head now (seriously used to frighten me)
glad im not the only one. I used to hide behind a cushion but my two older brothers would force me to watch it and turned the tv up really loud. I don't remember thriller but Hammer house of horror used to put the willys up me heheheeeeee
I remember Thriller the music would still freak me out now, would never go to bed till my mum went after watching it but would still sit week after week watching it! Tales was great and everytime it came on i would dance around like the woman! Does anyone remember hammerhouse when this man cut his wife up and wrapped her bits in brown paper and put them in the freezer in the basement and then one by one all the bits came back alive and began to chase him finally killing him!
It is meant to make you feel scared. I cannot recall being scard though. Obviously, you were a child at the time. I used to love Hammersmith House of Horror. I cannot recall the one alli mac is talking about but it sounds a good story. I remember the one about a phone that kept ringing in the next door hotel bedroom and the woman got annoyed and went round to answer the phone and it strangled her. I also remember the one where the woman killed her husband with a frozen joint of meat and fed the evidence to the police. There was one really horrible one where a guy started drilling into his bead. I wish I had not seen that one.
me too sillycow!! I loved the programme but hated the theme tune. I used to walk upstairs with all the lights on and my back to the wall after it ended.....just incase! To this day, the tune can still send a shiver through me...............
I too remember the one with the joint of meat, i wonder if any woman actually ever did that to a nagging or nasty husband, good way of getting rid of evidence!!!
