If he totally ignores you there is nothing at all that you can do about that. Under this circumstance, if you feel strongly about some boundary matter then your only recourse is to go to Court to obtain an appropriate declaration. It helps substantially if beforehand you can obtain a letter from the Land Registry supporting your point of view, but if it is matter of only an inch or two the Registry will not get involved. Deeds were done away with a couple of years or more ago, and the only thing that counts now is how your boundaries are Registered at the Land Registry. To see this click this link
