If you could sing, would you feel proud to sing for your country?
I would just be to embarrassed for our country and decline any offer.

It wasn't his fault, its all political - we were actually predicting the top votes as they were coming in - I bet nobody listens to the songs anyway! It proves one thing - nobody in Europe like us - but they all want to come and live over here .................... :))
Sorry but the 'eastern European countries sticking together' thing is a red herring. Even if it were true how does that work against the UK? I agree that aspects of the voting are predictable, boringly and annoyingly so, but who actually won in the end? I felt v sorry for Engelbert. He deserved better but performing an old fashioned ballad, first off, did for him. Wasn't it Norway or Denmark who actually came last tho? What is there for Europe to dislike about those countries? Anti-Scandinavian? Oh hang on, Sweden won! Maybe the expat voters of Norway and Engkand were too busy watching the footie :-)
