Usual rubbish especially our entry. I didn't think much of the winner. I much preferred Norway and Germany.
I have just seen the results. The conclusion to me is that political voting is such a factor now that the choice of song for many countries is irrelevant, The whole thing seems pointless to me but many people enjoy it so good luck to them
Agree, the political voting just gets worse and worse, the whole thing is pointless. Sweden won presumably because after having voted for their mates a lot of countries actually liked their song but I gather it's already been a massive club hit in lots of Europe so was well known.
Same old bullocks. The results were Music 0, Political Favouritism 1.
Rubbish!
Not worth debating about. Better singers on Britain's got talent.
Nobody who votes ever listens to the songs - its all political, voting for their neighbours/allies. The songs were rubbish, I agree with Wendilla, Britains Got talent DID have much better songs. Feel sorry for Englebert but at least he got a lot of publicity before the show which has brought him back in the limelight again in his "twilight years" .............
Someone gave 12 points to Albania, but she was an awful weird nutter
The only way this will ever be a 'song' contest is if the nationality of the contestants was not reveled until after the votes so that voting was on the songs only. Fat chance.
I belive Englebert has a large following and is still doing sell out concerts so he does not need to 'come back' he has just been out of the spotlight.
Perhaps we should put up Paul McCartney singing Yesterday
I didn't watch it but I switched over during an ad break and saw that Croatia gave all their high points to FYR Macedonia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Serbia!!! Is there any point to this farse?
"Hopkirk

there you go different tastes for different people i thought it was a great performance, but then again i do like "bjork"
**farce
i liked estonia's entry
who won it, where did, humperdink finish. just so i know...
Most of the entries I saw were absolute rubbish. However, I did like the Swedish entry and the German one was OK too, but nothing excited me. Didn't see all of the entries, which is probaby a good thing, lol. I absolutely hated Englebert's song, the appearance of the act ... everything about it really. It made Britain look sooo outdated and sooo boring! Why on earth do we bother? It used to be fun to watch, now it is just tedious! Hence I didn't wtch it all.
'Perhaps we should put up Paul McCartney singing Yesterday'

Sorry, Hopkirk - he'd get the same points as Englebert or Adele's finest. It's just too political.
Waste of air time!
For arksided.
Sweden won with 372 votes
Russia 259 votes and
Serbia got 314 votes.
The Hump came second to last with 12 points.
Sorry, Serbia got 214 votes.
