I've been given two bouquets of the most gorgeous flowers and I would love to know what they are? They are Sweet Pea colours, mauve, blue, pink and white - all delicate shades, some bi-coloured and the flowers look like a cross between roses and carnations. I've taken lots of pics, but don't know how to show them on here - or even if it's allowed. Hope someone knows what I'm talking about!
Hi Cetti, lovely to see you on here! Are they from someone's garden or florist flowers? I'm having a think, shop floristry isn't my thing...how about ranunculus?

i dont think you get blue peonies. There is a flower that gets used a lot in bouquets that fits the description but I cannot think of the blooming name. i think its common name is prairie something. Its semi double and the flowers swirl out from the centre, it never opens fully.
Hello Everyone! Thank you so much for all your answers, but I think woofgang's Lisianthus is the one - for one of the bunches, anyway. The other could be the same, but in different colours. Pat, I'll resize my pics and send you an email.
Now I know why I couldn't find them in my Flower Expert book - they used to be called Eustoma. Why do they insist on confusing us by name changing? Thanks again for your help - especially woofs!
