i havent had a bbq for ages and i keep well away from inlaws cos thats all they do come summer... though i must admit they make the best kebabs ive ever tried in my life....

The barbie would have worked well if the tide had gone out earlier (so we cooked in a rush because the kids were hungry but the barbie wasn't really ready). Also, it was freezing on the beach due to the wind so not a complete success (went to the nearest town for posh ice cream and then found a country pub for a drink so not a complete disaster, kids all in pj's now and two nearly asleep).
