Just watched last night's Corrie and Kirsty's dad looked remarkable like David from Heartbeat.

If it was him, he was more portly and acted properly.

It was him from Heartbeat. Good bit of acting !
Apparently it is.
I thought I recognised him.
It is the 3rd time he has been in Corrie, he was Fizz's Legal Rep with Jon Stape Story and also was also cast as Peter Barlow in the 80's.

Really I did not know that everhelpful.
What's the actor called please? He reminded me of someone who used to be in children's TV programmes in the 1970s
David Lonsdale...Factor
Thanks. As he was born in 1963 he's too young to be the one I was thinking of
i recorded it and accidentally deleted it!

will record again sat AM!
He used to be a policeman in The Bill, too.

He was acting properly in Heartbeat - that's how the character is meant to be portrayed.
Was surprised to learn he once played Peter Barlow, I much prefer the present one - hunk !
I can't see any attractiveness in the Peter Barlow character, I don't think he is handsome.
I would rather look at Peter Barlow than any of the other men in Corrie, I like his eyes.
Ithink the red truck was better looking but then Im a bloke.
Yes you're a bloke and this is why baked beans make you do what you do :-)
Is there anyone good looking in corrie?
Some may say Tommy is cute.
I wouldn't mind seeing Heartbeat make a comeback or something similar with
that 50's or 60's nostalgia. Weekend viewing is crap these days!
ots of great telly this weekend footie and eurovision or to put it another way absolute c***.
