news today is that they dont think its lymph cancer - (please see my previous post for more details)

so what could it be? what other things cause lumps that would make a doc suspect lymphatic cancer?
she is spending a lot of time in bed now, quite tired and the wounds where the biopsy was done have got infected.
she is an air hostess and travels all over the world - could she have picked up some sort of bug? or been bitten perhaps? she has no obvious bite marks though.
they are doing further tests now but didnt explain much.
(his mum doesnt tell him much, doesnt want to worry him or see him upset and scared, so i only have second hand vague details... she even got her friend to tell him that she thought things were more serious that she'd told him as she couldnt face it)
thanks

So what are we looking at?
Glandular fever,TB,Toxoplasmosis, and a whole host of infective disorders of which you will have to Google.
Good luck.....it is not malignancy, although the biopsy should have given them a clue as to the cause.
