I know this is not the correct category to post this Q, but I know you will see it here. I saw your post about caring for cats in a compound. I have been to Spain and the Islands many times and have always fed the cats. At times we have been reported for it where there are signs saying not to do so. Can you post a link please, where in a small way I can donate to such a worthy cause.

I don't know about mainland Spain or the other islands, but I often visit Menorca and there's an English lady out there who rescues and neuters cats on the island. Sometimes she has a stall in Mahon outside the American Bar selling items to raise funds or else it is possible to go out to her house near Mahon/Sant Luis to see the what she does and meet the kitties etc all with a view to raise funds. Like all other animal charities she's always looking out for any help and she can be contacted on [email protected] if you were interested in helping. I hope you find this useful

Did a bit more hunting and if you type Menorca's Cats Need You into your search thingy, it'll give you a better idea of what it is Janice Bockling does.

micmak....the posters are quite correct.....Janice is indeed Dutch and her husband died last year.
