i have lost count of the number of times that has happened to me.
usually with the gas man or plumber.

so, i understand your frustration.

as they say .... "been there - done that"
Phone them up and play merry hell. It'll still be on his van

have rang the mobile number he left and it just rings, and no voicemail option. I just knew this would bloody happen. Why do they ask you for times and then totally ignore them??
Ring their head office.

Yay, they have got hold of the driver and he is coming back with my furniture in an hour or so.
I bet he's got sore ears now.
Glad you're getting furniture, smow. This sort of thing winds me up so much. x
wonder if 'they' get probs with deliveries to themselves?
Surely you know by now Smowball? When a company says pm. it means am. And when it says am. it means pm. Unless, of course there is an 'R' in the month or the driver's had an argument with his wife before leaving home then then it can be either pm or am.
Then, of course there could be leaves on the railway line, the sun's too hot etc etc etc.......................
