I have bought a piece of furniture on ebay and a company I found on the tinternet won a bid to deliver. Two men are bringing it and will carry it up one flight of wide, not steep, stairs. It shouldn't take them any more than 5 mins once they arrive. So do you think I should tip them or not and if so how much? Thanks.
Yes, rsvp, I wish there was a book I could refer to.
£2-£3 seems mean, I'd actually rather give nothing than that.
And I don't drink beer so I won't be buying any.
gness I don't know. I did it through a host site that takes bids from interested parties and you choose the bid you want to run with. So don't really know anything about the company except they got a good customer score.
Lady! Truly £58 is more than enough. If they worked for the Co-Op for example a tip would be fine. They probably wouldn`t appreciate less than £10 each and to a pensioner that`s a good chunk.
Like I said, I`m a tipper but I wouldn`t and most wouldn`t so they won`t expect it.
Nearly said tip sucker bit never know who`s around!
Round my7 way, the hairdresser would expect a tip, and the local restaurant and the taxi drivers expect a tip, so i would give them a tip if they have given me good service.
