Wet in South Cambs. Yuk! Overcast, more rain expected. And why not? It's Derby Day. And it's the anniversary of the Coronation, when the rain poured down.

Mornin' WY and all....looks a poor forecast weatherwise for the Jubilee Bank Holiday.......not that her Majesty seems bothered, she's off to the races and bu33er the Jubileee....good on 'er! Heh heh!

Hands up all the anti royals who are having tuesday off wi' pay in her honour...mmm..maybe they should donate the day's pay to some "worthy" cause such as "Throne Out"....no?

BTW..I notice the refresh thing has cured itself completely for me....just thought I'd mention it.

Had to laugh. Epsom had proposed that the Derby meeting be changed to another date, as it was the Jubilee and Derby Day would be on the anniversary of the Coronation itself. The Queen let it be known that she was going to the Derby on the day, anyway. The Derby took priority as far as she was concerned. They could mark it as an official visit, instead of a private one, but that was as far as she'd go.
