Because there is no-one here to say it to. I recorded and have just watched Parky interviewing Muhammad Ali. I have never seen this interview before and what a lovely man! Great sense of humour.

That's one of a very small number of TV interviews which dramatically changed many people's view of the interviewee. (Up until the Parkinson interview, most Brits probably saw Ali as an arrogant, albeit amusing, thug. People suddenly saw him in a completely different light).
Ken Livingstone's first chat show interview had a similar effect. Up until then many people had believed the image of him which was being portrayed in the tabloid media (as a characterless, obsessive, anti-British neo-communist). Then we got to see that he was witty, intelligent and dedicated to his work.
