The mother of a child savaged by a dog has reportedly been posting on Facebook.
If you were in the middle of a family crisis would you try to find time to update your pages?
Is this the child who is in a medically induced coma after being attacked by staffies and having his nose and ear bitten off?
I don't see why she wouldn't post on Facebook, it is an easier and more efficient way of letting people know what is going on than phoning them individually.
I thought it was a way to tell the world your woes. But if it serves to keep family members and friends updated, I suppose it's not as bad as I thought.
i hardly get time to post on there as it is never mind if there was a family crisis... but like others have said its an easy way to let people know whats happening...and make sure they get the right story....
The world (and indeed his wife) have indicated that they are entirely unconvinced by the need to know what I had for lunch/tea/dinner - or indeed who I had it with ... but I still tell them anyway ...
People just react in different ways in these sort of circumstances, when my Farther died the first thing my Mother did when we came back from the hospital was cancel his subscription to Sky tv, no idea why that was on her mind at that time.
We thought brainwashing was confined to U.S.S.R and other totalitarian countries but it has been done very effectively in the democracies through the media and clever advertising. That is why some people's behaviour can seem odd to previous generations Sandy.
