COPYING & pasting photos

Is it possible to copy and paste a photo from your hardrive onto another photo , using copy and paste.
I can do this no problem using words but wont work with pictures - or is that what cy and paste is for - words and letters.
any advice is appreciated.

I think you are talking about editing a photo to make changes in it?
You really need to use an image software - Paint doesn't seem to let you do the task - you need something that will allow you to paste an image on top of another, or import an image onto another image. Gimp - free download - will do this - it is a free version of Photoshop.

Paint.NET is a bit simpler than GIMP but still powerful.

i have downloaded paint.NET and ive hit a brickwall - ended up with sometncalled JDownloader - ive no idea what to do next.
please help.
