Why wouldn't someone want to make a situation right, if it is 100 percent in their power?

I must say I always did wonder myself.
Because they don't want to get involved or arent the meddling type, and have enough on their own plate to deal with - like mama has suggested this could be pure speculation as I don't know the details.
Perhaps doesn't fit with what their model of what moral values they see as being the right thing to do? ie they don't see making something right "due to what others think" being the right thing to do? They perhaps also, don't feel it is the right thing to do (in their own mind)?
Mabye they dont want to do the right thing x
because they are not interested in putting things right.
Depends on personal definition of right and wrong imo.

Because right is subjective...my right may be your wrong and someone elses ok... and sometimes you are in enough broccoli
