Only got them last year as 3-year olds and had ONE plum from the lot. So chuffed to see loads on each tree this year and now they're decimated. We're down to 7 pears on one tree and 5 on the other. I counted 60+ on the ground and most of the plums are down as well. Anybody else having the same problem?

I keep mine on the roof terrace shoota. Where do you keep yours? ;-)
LOL.
I don't have a fruit tree problem, but the wind has completely buggered some of my foxgloves which were looking rather magnificent.
Safely undercover when its windy but I have been known to get them out in the sunshine.....
you are luckier than me bought mine as minitures in big plastic pots and havent had a single thing other than lots of leaves bought set of four :- apples, cherries, plum & pear. But I live in hopes ! Had similar fig tree and this year looks like the first time fcor five years we may, repeat may, see some figs but small.
Just tied all my roses to sticks because of the awful winds, cold out there too.

Foxgloves here are a bit battered as well but they're sheltered in the border so not too bad.
LOL shoota, also, yours are probably more firmly attached to the stem than mine were.
Dee Sa I always pay a bit more and buy an older plant as I'm too impatient to wait for years.
yes, same here and we've even lost branches off the fruit trees. the rabbits have eaten all the beans (runner and dwarf french but not broad) down to tiny little shoots and something has been having a battle in the middle of the onions and flattened all the shoots. fortunately i put chicken wire all round the peas. Not a good start.

Yours sounds worse than mine ladyJ. At least your rabbits will be happy. But the wind is still raging here so there will be more damage to come I expect.
The Greenfinches are having a problem landing on the bird feeder stuck on my balcony doors. Every time they try to get to the food the wind lifts them up again poor things.
