i've already posted this in jobs and careers but it might apply here too. i am taking part in a World Challenge Expedition to Bolivia in July of this year. its a month expedition where the team's trekking through the country and doing a community project. i have heard that there is a company that sponsors women/girls doing outdoor activities like this expedition but i dont know the name. anyone have any ideas? also can anyone recommend other companies that i could contact for sponsorship? thanks!

Sposorship is a form of marketing. Commercial organisations undertaking sponsorship are hoping to increase the visibility of their product or service by being associated with publicity your trip may have. With hundreds of World Challenge trips heading off each summer from all round the UK, any such visibility is more likely occur at a local level. In your shoes, I'd write to a range of local companies to try and drum up interest.

When my son did such a trip, most of the fundraising was car-cleaning, carboot sales within the group - pewrhaps you are already doing this?
