I'm pretty content with how I am. Oh-there are things I'd change but I'd never have any surgery...too scary,and it's not really all that important. I lost a bit of weight a year ago-not because I really needed to,but I wasn't comfortable with the extra. I now weigh what I did 30 years ago-which I never thought possible.

I am happy with my body. I would love to change my hair. I bloody hate it. Straight as a...... I don't know, not a kink or curl in it. I hate it. I've even thought of a wig.

i can't be arsed anymore to worry about my flabby and saggy bits. i'm me....and i'd rather concentrate on being happy and doing stuff i like (e.g. eating chocolate). if people don't like me or think anything about me in particular....i just don't give a stuff. people waste far too much time wondering what other people think. i'd rather waste my own time on me and my own.

I AM FEMALE, HAVE TONSIL CANCER, 5 YEARS NOW, 5 OPERATIONS 4 RADIOTHERAPIES AND ON MY 3RD CHEMOTHERAPY. I HAVE NO BOTTOM TEETH, CANT TAKE IMPLANTS OR DENTURES AS NO BOTTOM GUM. SCARRED CHIN WHICH PULLS MY MOUTH SIDEWAYS. CAN'T TALK DISTINCTLY. AT PRESENT I AM COMPLETELY BALD; LOOK LIKE AN ALIEN HAHA. I AM AT EASE WITH MY APPEARANCE BECAUSE I AM ALIVE. I USED TO BE SO CONSCIOUS OF HOW I LOOKED NEVER WENT OUT WITHOUT MAKEUP ON ETC. HAVING CANCER HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED MY PRIORITIES AND LIBERATED ME FROM AGONIES OF SELF IMAGE. ACTUALLY I THINK I LOOK SORT OF LIKE A FUNNY MOUTHED LITTLE ELF LIKE ALIEN AND IT'S OKAY.
