Thanks Traci, but oh! diving..diving? The only diving I do is when I am ducking and diving up the aisles of Tescos to avoid people I do not want to talk to.lol

i'll find some other way to make the most of my birthday
Lisa, that sounds fab, Bangkok is a real eye opener, never been to Koh Samui, mum and dad went and loved it, they thought it was the best resort in Thailand, mind they did stay in a lovely boutique hotel.
Question Author
Oh excy,is that because Traci said it was a working holiday,or are you trying to make me feel bad cos its working, honestly excy you take the holiday and enjoy your birthday with my blessing.lol x
Just spotted a typo on my bread recipe - if using dried yeast, you need much less than fresh. I'd say about 10 gms would replace 15 grammes of fresh.

Sorry about that. Don't think it would have made a dreadful difference, though.
Fly into Denver, Colorado and out of Tucson Arizona three weeks later, fill the time inbetween with the Rockies NP, Mesa Verde NP, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, White Sands. We'll be visiting again the brilliant Desert Museum in Tucson, love it. The best part is not flying from London, doing Norwich to Amsterdam, so shall hopefully avoid the immigration queues!
Don't go abroad cos I won't leave my elderly dog. He comes with us! Going for a long weekend to the Lakes next month and 10 days in Scotland in a cottage on the isle of Seil late August.
Does anyone here think going on a long haul all inclusive holiday is a bit pointless? I mean if you're going all that way dont you want to experience the local culture, food and drink rather than being stuck in a resort for a fortnight because it is 'all paid for'?
Yes, if I went abroad, I'd want to see the place and sample all the different foods in out of the way restaurants.
