on a laminate floor- what can i get it off with? Tried turps -no use

Hi Trish,my husband says you could try a paint and varnish remover such as Nitro Mors.Its very thick stuff,and you paint it onto the gloss with a toothbrush etc...Its generally used on wood,but laminate would probably be ok with it. You could try a test patch anyway. Good luck!!

Ta linda x- its for my daughter, new house etc- partner slap happy with the diy- lol
maybe a scraper - it gets gloss of window panes... or pick at it with a knife

I'd go for the elbow grease option rather than Nitromors (wickedly powerful stuff that hates plastic). If the paint is well dried, it should be fairly easy to GENTLY scrape it off with a small tool - something not sharp, like an old flathead screwdriver. Any bits that remain in the 'grain' of the laminate can be scraped out with something more pointed, like a bradawl or scewer - again, don't use anything too sharp as you'll just cut the surface.
